Upon successful completion of this course,
you will be eligible to apply for inclusion on the DSA Fleet Register.
Our course has been designed & is
delivered by experienced trainers who have day to day
understanding of the Fleet & Corporate Sector in the
administration, management and front line delivery of Fleet
Driver Training Programmes.
Our objectives are not to simply provide
you with a means to achieve DSA Fleet Registration, we
believe you should have a greater understanding of the Fleet
& Corporate Sector.
Note:
Upon Fleet Registration, your DSA
required check test will be undertaken as a Fleet Instructor and not as an
ADI. Any grading achieved under a Fleet Instructor check test will overide
your ADI grading.

UK
Road Safety's Fleet Driving Instructor Diploma
Course has been developed in line with the Government's Road Safety
Strategy and casualty reduction targets for 2010.
We aim to enhance your existing skills and
knowledge, whilst at the same time introducing and encouraging new skills
along with the development of an increased awareness of the Health &
Safety issues affecting ADI's.
Incorporated into the programme is a module
relating to the development of presentations skills aimed at providing the
skills necessary to prepare and design presentations using a variety of
media.

Course Format:
Our course consists of five full days and can
be undertaken over five consecutive days or one-day per week over a five
week period.
The course includes the three required DSA
modules - Theory Test, Own Driving Test & Fleet Instructional Test. Two
other modules, Health & Safety and Presentation Skills are not examinable
but are an integral part of the course.
All TESTED
modules are required to be undertaken in successful sequence.
|
Theory Test |
A 90 minute, 100 question multiple
choice paper with an 85% pass mark.
The DSA Fleet question bank will be sent
to you for home study prior to attendance. |
|
Health & Safety |
An introduction to Health & Safety with
regard to the ADI. Through
presentation and discussion we aim to highlight the current H&S
issues facing both the ADI and corporate bodies and their drivers.
This is not to be seen as a
definitive statement on Health & Safety but rather an eye opener
that will encourage you to seek further information regarding this
hot topic. |
|
Presentation Skills |
The ability to prepare, design and
deliver presentations to audiences ranging from a few to possibly
hundreds is an essential skill of fleet training.
You will be required to prepare and
deliver a 15 minute presentation of your choice using a variety of
media as you feel appropriate. |
|
Own Driving |
Your driving will assessed and raised to
the required level in order to pass the Test of your Own Driving
Ability. Instructional commentary is required. |
|
Fleet Coaching |
Our experienced team of Fleet Instructor
Trainers will raise your ability to asses and grade the experienced
driver. |
|
Course Examiners |
In order to avoid conflict of interest
our on road former DSA examiner will never train clients, however, they are in attendance
on a daily basis to deal with any issues. |

Lunch & Refreshments:
Throughout the course refreshments are
available with lunch at a local pub near our office. This allows
